Gungegiri Estate sits at 1,200m in Chikmagalur district, within the Chandra Drona (Baba Budangiri) Hills, the range where coffee is said to have first taken root in India. Originally established by the British brothers W.L. and C.S., the estate is now part of the Sangameshwar Coffee collective, which also operates Attikan Estate. This natural-process lot is dried whole on raised beds, developing a fruit-forward intensity that reflects some of Karnataka's most favourable growing conditions.
