AAA refers to the largest screen size in the Indian commercial grading system. Beans at this specification are screen-sorted, cleaned for defects, and dried to the moisture range required for safe export (10.5–12.5%). The cup profile is clean and approachable: mild acidity, medium body, a straightforward chocolate-nut character that works well as an espresso base, in South Indian filter coffee, and in milk-based café drinks.
What distinguishes Koraput AAA from anonymous commercial Indian Arabica is the origin transparency.
